So the results are up at heroes_het_fic and despite virtually no fic activity this year, I've managed to squeeze in a respectable 3rd for Best Threesome Fic. LOL, considering how squicked I was writing threesomes at the beginning, it is not too shabby! Big thanks to everyone who voted for me.



Congrats goes out to my flisties who highly deserve their placings and wins, especially to sinverguenza and quirkysmuse (paynesgrey) for their multiple placings/wins. Well deserved, as you gals deftly move from character to character and ship to ship without a moment's notice and do each one equally well! ;-)

I will say that these awards have really made me question my current level of inactivity, both fanfic and original fic wise. I've been distracted with RL issues and haven't written more than two sentences stuck together, which is terrible and annoying as I do love my Paire and Nathan/Peter/Claire but nothing really springs to mind. It's as if I've burnt out and/or written everything that I can, which is bollocks b/c I've got about 5 WIPs on my hard drive without an ending. I have zero inspiration atm which doesn't bode well for my immediate writing prospects. Ack. I should just bite the bullet and make myself write, b/c I know that, as with anything, writing is an art best practiced!

Hurrah! I've gotten some goodies from the paire_awards.  The winners were announced today courtesy of the extraordinarily efficient dragonydreams, who also found time to do wonderful, gorgeous plaques for the place getters.  

I can't really get up on my imaginary podium about being stunned seeing as I counted the votes. But I was surprised when I tallied everything to find I'd collected some goodies, so Yay! Because I am a comment/attention whore deep down in the pits of my dirty writer's heart. Seriously though, thank you to everyone who voted for me. ;-)
