It's getting nearer and nearer to the end of the Tenth Doctor (ie: Doctor Hottie) and I'm sure I'm not alone in admitting that he's my favourite Doctor. So in the wake of the regeneration angst I'm going to suffer, I hosting a celebration of all things Ten over on my podcast 'The Wailing Fangirl'

So what I'm after is people, with microphones and a skype account, to join me for a good old chin wag fangirl session about our favourite brainy specs wearing Timelord.

How it works.

I start a skype conference call, and then I add you all into the call, then we all proceed to chat about the Tenth Doctor's era as a whole, I record it, edit it, then release it as a podcast for people all over the interwebs to listen to.

You could almost think of it as a online group therapy session, almost like all of us sitting in a pub, crying into our banana daiquiris as we mourn the end of the Tenth Doctor, while at the same time, celebrating all we love about him.

I'm in Australia, but me and my co-host do not mind waking up early to accommodate everyone in the UK and the US. So for times, I'm thinking about 7am (Sydney Time) which is around 6pm - UK time, and 3pm - US Eastern time
I'm also thinking of a Saturday, maybe 9th January 2010, for this. (Sunday morning for me) as my Monday morning (Sunday) is taken with going on another podcast.

So yes, comment all who are interested, I want to make this a nice large show with lots of opinions, memories and fangirlness.
Let's make this the best Tenth Doctor era podcast ever!

Hey everyone!

I know New Year's isn't for a few more days, and most people aren't even online, but why not get this started now for those who are? Post links to Draco/Hermione fics, art (whether trad media, icons, manips, etc), essays, fan mixes, vids, communities, websites, anything!

I'll likely comment back and leave comments, but to get us started I'll mention the website AccioDHr created by the ever wonderful elyaeru in January of 2009. This is an incredibly helpful and easy-to-use (i.e. even I can figure it out) site.

It exists as a recommendation site for D/Hr works, fiction and art. You can search off their tag list, by rating, by number of votes, by title/author name, and many other search options. If you like to search, this place is for you (especially since LJ tags don't see restrict results when doing a multi-tag search)!

So, yes, tell people what you read, what you enjoyed, what you loved. Share what you created this year for the pairing! And if you realize that incredible story (or art, vid, mix, moment in the film(s), etc) you read and loved and can't say enough good about was actually written in 2008 or earlier? That's okay, include it anyway. :)
